Work experience placements are pivotal in engaging and enthusing youngsters into a career in the construction sector with now, more than ever, a greater career choice for young people.

Construction work experience placements are often too bureaucratic and regulated for many SMEs. Consign can help companies manage work experience placements, young Apprenticeships as well as support the achievement of construction GCSE Diplomas. Where appropriate we can support young people’s training needs by working with a number of employers and other organisations to break down the responsibilities into relevant, manageable elements co-ordinated by the Consign team. This means that no individual company has the obligation to provide all of the training, but also as importantly, the young people enjoy a more varied and better structured programme and insight into the construction industry. This will in turn mean more fit for purpose, educated and enthused youngsters will seek to pursue construction careers.
